Great music...but now we wait for the rumors...

Rihanna is really putting in work when it comes to making that good music and pushing her newest upcoming album, Good Girl Gone Bad. We've all had a taste of what it feels like to be under her Umbrella (even though we had to shove to get Jay-Z out of the way to get under there). Now, the island beauty has released her new single, featuring Ne-Yo, titled "Hate That I Love You". I think it's another radio banger. It has a "So Sick" kind of feel but what are you gonna do? Now you know people are going to assume they're dating, just like they do with everyone else. Anyways, check it out for yourself...

Fabolous' album put on pause...

You would think getting shot is enough to rush someone's album out ASAP. Controversy sells and if getting shot isn't controversy then there is no such person as 50 Cent! Well obviously not at Def Jam. The album From Nothin' to Somethin' which was supposed to be Fab's first album since switching from Atlantic Records to Def Jam, was set to be released on April 17th, but instead is being pushed back to June 12th according to the rapper's website. Funny thing is, this isn't the first time the album was pushed back. Fabololus' album was originally supposed to be released sometime in December but was post-poned as a result of being shot in the leg last October. This is ultimately what causes an album to flop. Fab has already started promotional appearances and his first single off of the album titled "Diamonds" is recieveing airplay from radio stations...by the time he does come out, the masses will have already had enough of him and climaxed prematurely. Ha ha. Hopefully that's not the case.Sounds to me like another job well done by CEO Jay-Z. Well all I can do is help promote. Listen to "Diamonds" below.

Jay-Z's got Rihanna under an "Umbrella"

So, Rihanna is set to release her 3rd album, Good Girl Gone Bad, on June 5th of this year. That's all good in everything but its crazy how it took Rihanna two years only to get to her 3rd album while other people on Def Jam, like as Joe Budden are still sitting on one. Nonetheless, the first single from the album produced by C. Tricky Stewart was released last week globally and is appropriately titled "Umbrella". Why is that appropriate? Because the name of the track, featuring the HNIC of Def Jam, Jay-Z, seems to illustrate exactly why this pretty alright looking chick with mediocre talent is not out on the streets yet. In my opinion, there has to be something unsaid going on between the employer and employee. But, hey, what are you gonna do? I think the the track has enough nonsense syllables and a repetitive hook going on in it to catch the ear of the masses but you be the judge...
